Benchmark Electrical Solutions is growing. Over the past quarter, we've brought on new journeymen electricians, an additional project manager, and two experienced foremen—expanding our capacity to serve clients across Colorado and the Mountain West without compromising the standards that define our work. Here's what that growth means for the clients who trust us with their projects.
Who We've Added and Why
Our recent hires reflect the specific demands of our current and upcoming project pipeline. We added journeymen with experience in oil and gas field work, industrial motor controls, and instrumentation to strengthen our core capabilities. Our new project manager brings a background in large commercial and industrial projects, adding scheduling and coordination depth as we take on more complex scopes. Our new foremen have extensive field leadership experience and the kind of safety culture fit that Benchmark demands.
These aren't warm-body hires. Every person we bring onto the Benchmark team goes through a rigorous evaluation of their technical skills, safety record, and professional attitude. The goal is a team that clients can rely on regardless of which crew is assigned to their job.
What More Team Members Mean for Project Capacity
For clients, team growth translates directly into:
- Faster mobilization on time-sensitive projects
- Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously without resource conflicts
- More experienced foremen available for complex or hazardous scopes
- Shorter lead times for service and maintenance requests
We've been deliberate about not overextending our team during periods of high demand. Adding headcount now means we can say yes to the right projects without stretching our existing crew thin—which is when quality problems happen.
Our Apprenticeship Commitment
Beyond experienced hires, Benchmark is committed to developing the next generation of electricians through our apprenticeship programme. Apprentices work alongside our journeymen and foremen on real projects, gaining the field experience and mentorship that no classroom can replicate. We believe the best way to solve the skilled trades shortage is to invest in it directly, and that investment pays dividends in loyalty, culture, and long-term capability.
The electricians we develop today are the project managers and foremen who will define Benchmark ten years from now.
We're Still Hiring
Our growth isn't finished. We have current openings for journeyman electricians, foremen, and apprentices who want to build a career with a company that invests in their development and takes safety seriously. If you or someone you know is looking for a quality electrical contractor to grow with in Northern Colorado or beyond, we'd love to hear from you.
