Project Overview

Benchmark Electrical Solutions is currently executing a fast-tracked electrical and instrumentation (I&E) contract for the expansion of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Boulder, Colorado. The lump sum project covers power distribution, equipment power, grounding and bonding, lighting, cable tray, conduit, and instrumentation across a three-floor industrial building and adjacent tank farms, all supporting a new manufacturing train. Running 26 weeks on a 6×10 schedule and totaling nearly 20,000 manhours, this project demands precision execution in a highly regulated environment. With owner production slated to begin in 2027, on-time mobilization and a solution-oriented approach are critical, particularly around hazardous area classification, integrator identity, and hot work permitting. This project showcases Benchmark's ability to deliver complex I&E scopes under compressed timelines in regulated pharmaceutical environments.
