Oklahoma VA Hospitals Upgrades

Project Overview

Benchmark Electrical Solutions is currently executing multi-facility electrical infrastructure upgrades across two major veteran’s healthcare campuses in Oklahoma. These projects focus on modernizing critical power distribution systems to support evolving electronic health record (EHRM) requirements and ensure uninterrupted operation of essential medical services. The scope includes large-scale installation of conduit and wiring systems, upgrades to panels and switchgear, device integration, and phased demolition—all performed in active hospital environments requiring strict coordination, temporary power solutions, and minimal disruption to patient care. The projects are being delivered through carefully sequenced construction phases, including night work and shutdown coordination, to maintain continuous facility operations. Upon completion, these upgrades will significantly improve system reliability, capacity, and long-term scalability for both campuses, positioning them to support future healthcare technology advancements in veteran healthcare.

Scope of Work

• •~48,000 linear feet of conduit installed across both facilities (33,453 LF OKC + 14,972 LF Muskogee)
• •~195,000 LF of wire installed (including large feeder and branch conductors)
• •8,700+ terminations and connections supporting complex hospital systems

• •~22,000 total labor hours planned across both projects
