Electrical Project Manager

Benchmark Electrical Solutions is hiring a battle-tested Electrical Project Manager to own the schedule, control costs, lead crews, and deliver high-quality work in the commercial and industrial construction space.

Position Overview

You’ll manage projects from bid to closeout — safely, on schedule, and under budget. As Electrical Project Manager, you will manage everything from kickoff through closeout — planning, scheduling, budgeting, field coordination, client communication, and final delivery. You will directly lead Project Engineers, Superintendents, and General Foremen and Foremen.

Key Responsibilities

• Own project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
• Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and code standards
• Manage client relationships and represent Benchmark in the field
• Identify risks early and solve problems before they become costly
• Run multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a PM or Superintendent in electrical or construction (Required)
• Strong background in electrical contracting, design, and execution
• Proven experience managing project budgets and financial performance
• Working knowledge of electrical engineering principles and NEC/NFPA codes
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs, and contracts
• Strong leadership and communication skills with clients, crews, and internal teams
• 5+ years as an Electrical PM at a contractor with $15M+ in annual revenue (Strongly Preferred)
• Industrial and/or oil & gas project experience (Strongly Preferred)
• Journeyman’s or Master Electrician License (Strongly Preferred)
• AAS in Business/Construction Management or Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management (Strongly Preferred)
• PMP certification or equivalent (Strongly Preferred)

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standard field duties
• Outdoor job site conditions and varying weather/temperatures
• 10–25% travel to project job sites
